In order to attract foreign talents to explore their future and work in Taiwan, we have relaxed regulations on work, residence, dependency, while optimizing social protection by amending relevant laws for the recruitment and employment of foreign professionals. Previously, foreigners with a bachelor's degree needed to have work experience for at least two years before they could be employed to engage in specialized or technical work in Taiwan. Now graduates with masters degree and above, or with bachelors degree from top 500 world university are exempted from being required to having work experience for two years.
