Taiwan Sister Institutes of MDACC Global Academic Program Attended the 2013 Annual GAP Conference

MDACC are hosting the 2013 Global Academic Program (GAP) conference between April 3 and 5 in Houston. The GAP Annual Conference provides a forum for faculty from MD Anderson and 26 Sister Institutions from 21 countries to develop collaborations and exchange research results and ideas. There are 14 delegations from three Taiwan major research hospitals, namely National Taiwan University Hospital, Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, and China Medical University Hospital. Sessions are formed around topics of interest to the members of the Sister Institution Network. The Director General Steve Hsia, Deputy Director General John Chih and Director of Science and Technology Division Chiapei Chou of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in Houston were invited to the welcome reception on April 3. The TECO in Houston also hosted a welcome dinner for the Taiwanese delegations on April 4.
