本年度由美南國建會所舉辦之科學工程技術研討會(SETS)將於6月2日於糖城Marriott Hotel舉行。本會議之Kick-off Meeting於4月22日假休士頓Chinese Community Culture Center 舉辦，廖東周大使及TECO多組組長和同仁均共同出席本餐會，科技組並協助大會議程寄發工作。會議開始並邀請理財專家Ms. Maria Kong 主講 "the Challenges in Retirement".
