Prof. Minn-Tsong Lin, Deputy Minister of the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC), led a delegation to visit New Delhi, India from December 5th to 9th, 2023. In addition to attending the 12th Taiwan-India Bilateral Joint Committee Meeting in Science and Technology Cooperation and the 1st Taiwan-India Bilateral Meeting in Social Science Cooperation, the delegation also paid courtesy visits to the Indian Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT-Delhi), National Physical Laboratory under the Indian Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR-NPL), the Department of Biotechnology under the Indian Ministry of Science and Technology (DBT), and the Indian Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoES). During the visit, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on bilateral cooperation between the National Applied Research Laboratories (NARLabs) and the Indian Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) was signed, marking the successful conclusion of the activities aimed at deepening bilateral scientific research and social science and humanities cooperation between Taiwan and India.
