🌌國家太空中心(TASA)與虎尾科大合作自製的立方衛星「山雀T2 (PARUS-T2)」在台灣時間6月24日凌晨5點25分,搭乘SpaceX獵鷹九號火箭Transporter 14航班,成功自加州范登堡空軍基地(Vandenberg Space Force Base)升空,在距離地球表面621公里高的軌道運作,並於當日下午1點左右與台灣地面站通聯。

🦜PARUS的命名靈感來自台灣特有種赤腹山雀(Sittiparus castaneoventris),任務壽命為12個月,酬載MIT「語音跨頻帶中繼器」及「自動位置回報系統(APRS)」等通訊設備,主要任務為驗證立方衛星優化後的性能,藉此提升立方衛星本體可靠度,並做為台灣創新思維太空驗證平台。🌟

🛰️ The PARUS-T2 Cube Satellite was launched into space by SpaceX Transporter-14 from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California on June 24 at 5:25 A.M. (GMT+8). The PARUS-T2 satellite was jointly developed by the Taiwan Space Agency (TASA) and National Formosa University, and carries two Taiwan-developed communications payloads: a cross-band voice repeater and an Automatic Packet Reporting System (APRS). Its mission duration is planned to be one year. TASA aims to verify the satellite’s functionality through this CubeSat and provide a platform for researchers to develop standardized CubeSat technologies.
