Introduce to department
Industrial and mechanical educations, at the tertiary level, have begun in Cambodia since 1999 with the establishment of Department of Industrial and Mechanical Engineering (GIM) at Institute of Technology of Cambodia campus in Phnom Penh.Industrial and Mechanical Engineering Department was upgraded from Department of Industrial and Mine. The GIM has been developing and expanding since its inception, which started with the enrolment of 27 science based of Mine Engineering students. Now, GIM offers courses at undergraduate level to a lot of students who are working in both public and private organizations and some pursued theirs study abroad in Asian, also European countries and other. Industrial and Mechanical Engineering Department has also become a well-known department which produces the intelligent students in the field of Industrial and Mechanical Engineering in Cambodia.
Objective
The Department of Industrial and Mechanical Engineering prime objective is to impart advanced knowledge and training students, both engineers and technicians, in various areas of Industrial and Mechanical fields. The students who gain entry to the department undergo rigorous training and a high teaching standard on Engineering. The prominent lecturers impose an uncompromising quality in research and teaching through lectures, and practical in the program. After graduated, students are able to work in the various areas of industrial and mechanical fields with their selves abilities of new creative ideas, intelligent innovations, and excellent management.
