Assist foreign students in establishing a sense of partnership with Taiwan, and to promote their connections with research fellows in the academia and industry in Taiwan.
Host Institutions： Mainly universities, research institutes and laboratories.
Research Topic ：Determined by principal investigator of lab.
Eligibility： Undergraduate and graduate students with foreign nationalities who meet Taiwan’s key field in scientific research & development.
Internship scholarship ：NT$30,000 per month (interns are responsible for their own airfares, visas, meals, accommodation, insurances, and any other personal expenses).
Duration ：Maximum for 3 months
Internship Period ：May 2024 to March 2025
Quota ： About 600 foreign students will be invited for internship.
The online matching platform has been open for PI and applicants to register since Dec.18th,2023. Once a match has been made, the PI and the applicant will receive an email notification via the registered email address. The NSTC will assist in itinerary arrangements for the intern once approval has been made for entry into Taiwan.
