Dear registrants/friends,

We are so glad that you have expressed interest in our webinar.

Thanks to Richard (IBM RSM), we are pleased to inform you that “Introduction to Quantum Computer Programming _ Part II” is coming. Have you attended our previous session? Do you still have questions? Are you interested in the demos of quantum computer programming? This time we will focus on this area and take a deep dive into the examples of quantum computing.

Date and Time: Wed, June 24, 2020, 9 – 10 AM EDT

Quantum computer is a completely different kind of computing called quantum computing. It could spur the development of new breakthroughs in science, medications, machine learning, financial strategies, and more. An increasing number of companies from major players (e.g. IBM, Google, Microsoft) to startups are researching and investing this technology. We are inviting you to join our webinar to take a peek at quantum computing. If you ever wonder how to start a quantum program, this talk is something you do not want to miss.

Abstract:

Quantum computing has reached promising progress in recent years, and many researchers are exploring its capabilities to find more efficient solutions. This talk will illustrate the differences between quantum computer programming and current computer programs, and then walk through a few examples using the publicly available IBM Q and Qiskit platform. The examples include problems in chemistry, optimization, and machine learning.

After the registration, you will receive a ticket from Eventbrite, including an embedded link (View Now) to the web meeting. You can join the webinar by using your computers or you can simply call in. The phone numbers will be provided to our attendees through email just before the meeting. Please register early if you are planning to participate. We look forward to meeting you online. Thank you and stay safe during this time.
