4. Qualifications：
(1) Educational requirements: A doctoral degree in the fields related to special education obtained from domestic and international universities accredited by the ROC Ministry of Education.
(2) Experience: Candidates with practical work experience are preferred, such as expertise related to clinical teaching and research on teacher training.
(3) Preferred Specialties:
a. Education for Learning Disabilities: Relevant courses include Resource Room Programs and Management, Curriculum Design in Special Education, Curriculum Adaptation and Instruction Design for Students with Mild Disabilities, Practicum in Resource Room, Theory and Practice of Inclusive Education.
b. Education for Intellectual Disabilities: Relevant courses include Introduction to Intellectual Disabilities,Curriculum Design in Special Education,Professional Development for Teachers of Special Education,Introduction to Early Intervention,Career Guidance and Transition for Students with Disabilities,Life Skills Education, Practicum in Self-Contained Classes of Special Education.
(4) At least 2 refereed articles in domestic or international academic journals since 2019 are required, with at least 1 of them being at the level of TSSCI, SCI, or SSCI. (Proof of acceptance is required if applicable.)
5. Submission of Documents:
(1) Please provide copies for each of the following: Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral degree certificates along with transcripts of highest education (Doctoral candidates will not be considered), university professor certificates (if any), both sides of national ID card, discharge certificate or exemption certificate (not required if not applicable).
(2) Please provide three copies of your doctoral dissertation and list of publications. If you hold a foreign doctoral degree, please first submit your degree certificate (or provisional graduation certificate) and transcripts to the overseas unit for authentication procedures.
6. Other Required Materials:
Please complete the two forms as attached in Appendix I and II and provide both hard copy and electronic files.
(1) Provide syllabi for three courses that you can teach based on your expertise.
(2) Provide the list of research publications over the years (please specify SSCI / TSSCI journal papers, and mark “*” if corresponding author), involvement in or leadership of relevant research projects. (As shown in Appendix II)
(3) Fill in the list of works and representative works in Appendix II, with either printed or photocopied excerpts.
(4) List of research projects funded by the National Science Council, Ministry of Education, or other public agencies.
(5) Records of other relevant research achievements and awards.
(6) Teaching evaluation surveys. (Not required for those without college teaching experiences)
(7) Letters of recommendation. (Optional)

7. Remarks：
(1) Please mark "Applying for Special Education Department Full-time Faculty Position" on the envelope for document review.
(2) If the number of applicants is less than 10, the announcement period may be extended as necessary.
(3) Parts of the interview and the on-site teaching may be conducted in English.
(4) Applicants must sign consent for the school to check whether they have any records of sexual offense crimes.
(5) Newly hired teachers at this school are obligated to undertake administrative duties for two years; teachers hired after February 1, 2024, are required to offer at least one full English or EMI (English-medium instruction) course each semester.
