1. The Master’s Program in Biodiversity (MPB) offers one tenure track Faculty Position (Assistant Professor or above), starting from Aug 1, 2026.
(1)Applicants must hold a doctoral degree (at the rank of Assistant Professor or above) and demonstrate the ability to teach in English. The successful candidate will be expected to offer compulsory courses and other professional courses in English, at least including courses “Biodiversity and Conservation Biology” and “Seminars in Biodiversity”.
(2)The research areas include biodiversity, conservation biology, applied ecology, and related fields.
(3)The successful candidate will be expected to support administrative and student affairs.
(4)This position is funded under the Bilingual Education Program, Ministry of Education (MOE). In accordance with MOE regulations, applicants must not be current full-time, tenure-track faculty members or tenure-track researchers employed at domestic public or private universities, colleges, or academic research institutes.
2. Documents required for application:
(1)Curriculum Vitae including nationality, year of birth, education background and year, summary of research field, current position, working experience, publication list from past seven years (published after Aug 1, 2019).
(2)A personal statement indicating a commensurate position (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor) to be applied and the important contribution of one designated representative paper. Please also include statements of past teaching and research experiences.
(3)ONE designated representative paper, which should be as the first author or corresponding author and be published in respected international journals (SSCI, SCIE, AHCI) after Aug 1, 2021. (Excluding article types for notes, review, scientific data…etc.)
For applicants applying as an Assistant Professor and who received their doctoral degree within the past three years (after August 1, 2023), their dissertation can be considered as the representative paper.
