III. Academic Requirements
⚫ Semiconductor Device Department:
Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Materials Science, Physics, or related fields.
⚫ Semiconductor Design Department:
Ph.D. in Science or Engineering from a reputable institution.
⚫ Semiconductor Materials Department:
Ph.D. in Science or Engineering from a reputable institution.
⚫ Semiconductor Process Department:
Ph.D. in Science or Engineering from a reputable institution.

IV. Areas of Academic and Professional Expertise
⚫ Semiconductor Device Department:
3D CMOS Process and Devices/ Nanoelectronics/ Nano-Photonics/ MEMS and BAW/SAW
Technologies/ Memory and CIM Technologies/ Quantum and Qubit Technologies/ IoT
Devices/ Secure Chip and PUF Technology/ Sensor and Detector Technologies
⚫ Semiconductor Design Department:
VLSI Design for Circuits and Systems/ ASIC Design for AI Applications, Advanced
Communications Systems, and Biomedical Systems/ VLSI Electronic Design Automation/
Electronic System-Level Design/ Embedded System Design/ Computer Architecture and Systems
⚫ Semiconductor Materials Department:
- Advanced semiconductor materials (1D/2D nanomaterials, quantum dots, compound
semiconductors, organic optoelectronic materials)
- Advanced packaging materials (conductive bonding materials, dielectric materials, thermal interface materials)
- Advanced memory device materials (spintronics, ferroelectric materials, phase-change materials)
- Silicon photonic materials
⚫ Semiconductor Process Department:
- Advanced semiconductor device processes, integration technologies, or advanced
packaging techniques
- Module technologies such as critical etching, deposition, and chemical mechanical polishing
- Defect analysis, yield improvement, and reliability techniques
- Advanced packaging module and integration technologies

V. Qualifications
⚫ Semiconductor Device Department:
- Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Materials Science, Physics, or related fields with relevant research experience
- Candidates with international or major project collaboration experience, research or industry background in related fields, and ability to teach in English are preferred
⚫ Semiconductor Design Department:
- Ph.D. in Science or Engineering with relevant research experience
⚫ Semiconductor Materials Department:
- Ph.D. in Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, or related fields
- Ability to teach in English
- Experience in academic, research, or industrial R&D institutions is preferred
⚫ Semiconductor Process Department:
- Ph.D. in Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, or related fields, and capable of teaching in English
- Experience in semiconductor fabs, materials and equipment companies, or
semiconductor-related R&D institutions (domestic or international) are preferred.
