National Taiwan University is seeking candidates for a full-time faculty position (Assistant Professor or above) in the Bachelor Program of Biotechnology and Food Nutrition.
Position Description
Title: Assistant Professor (or Associate/Full Professor)
Quota: One

Qualifications:
1. Possess a doctoral degree from a domestic or foreign institution recognized by the Ministry of Education. Postdoctoral research experience or relevant professional experience is preferred.
2. Should not be a current full-time faculty member or full-time research staff employed within the established staffing system of any public or private university or academic research institution in Taiwan.
3. Demonstrated proficiency and enthusiasm for English-medium instruction (EMI).
4. Specialization in food nutrition; applicants with expertise in nutritional biochemistry, lifespan nutrition, nutrigenomics, or public health nutrition will be given priority.
Job Responsibilities: The successful candidate will serve as a full-time Assistant Professor (or higher) and be responsible for teaching, research, and service duties.
Lectures to be given (in English): Nutritional Biochemistry, as well as courses in food nutrition. Additionally, at least 2 credits of general education or university-wide common courses must be offered.

2. One representative publication of the last five years (published after February 1st, 2022). This cannot be research notes, brief reports or review articles. “Verification of Co-author’s Contribution to the Applicant’s Representative Publication” is required if the representative publication was co-published with other authors. 3. Reprints or copies of all publications of the last seven years (published after February 1st, 2020). Copies or photocopies of accepted yet unprinted publications should be attached, along with the proof of acceptance.
4. A copy of the ID card or passport.
5. A copy of the doctoral degree certificate, current job and relevant academic experience certificate.
6. A copy of the master’s and doctoral academic transcripts. Full professors or associate professors currently employed overseas are not required to submit these documents. If the foreign institution attended does not issue academic transcripts, please provide the academic calendars for the years of study or a certificate of enrollment period issued by the relevant academic affairs administrative unit of the institution, and submit the document for authentication by an overseas mission.
7. Three recommendation letters. The letters should be directly sent to the contact email below by the referees.
8. Syllabi for the Nutritional Biochemistry, as well as courses in food nutrition.
9. Supporting materials for review.
