The Laboratory of Autonomous Molecule Design of Assistant Professor Tzuhsiung Yang at the Department of Chemistry, National Tsing Hua University, is seeking multiple postdoctoral research assistants.
Research Focus: The research involves using generative AI models to design and optimize homogeneous transition metal catalysts for ammonia oxidation, small molecule cancer drugs, and/or molecular spin qubits.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Conduct quantum chemical calculations.
2. Develop Python scripts to analyze calculation results.
3. Use deep generative models to predict molecular properties and design molecules.
4. Write and publish academic journal articles.
5. Assist the principal investigator in writing and executing research projects, and prepare research reports in both English and Chinese.
6. Assist in supervising graduate students in research-related work.
7. Undertake other tasks beneficial to the development of the team.
