Research Overview:
Our group focuses on neutral atom quantum control, precision measurement, and atom-nanophotonic quantum technology to explore the frontiers of quantum science and its applications. We aim to establish world-class experimental platforms in the following research areas:
* Ultracold atoms and quantum gases (quantum simulation and control)
* Hybrid atom-photon quantum platforms (quantum networks and simulation)
* Next-generation ultra-stable optical atomic clocks (quantum precision metrology)
Job Responsibilities: (Many of the tasks involve substantial research components and can serve as preparation for future Master's or Ph.D. studies.)
* Design, build, and maintain optical and laser systems
* Construct and operate ultra-high vacuum (UHV) experimental systems
* Develop control and data acquisition systems (including electronic circuit design and instrumentation)
* Participate in quantum control experiments and high-stability laser system development
* Fabrication and testing of nanofibers
Eligibility Requirements:
* Applicants with backgrounds in physics, photonics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering are preferred. Other science and engineering backgrounds will also be considered based on interview.
* Strong interest in experimental physics, technical development, and precision measurement.
* Proactive, team-oriented, and problem-solving mindset.
* Prior experience in electronics, optics, or related scientific research is a plus.
* Especially suitable for those planning to pursue graduate studies domestically or abroad.
