I. Position Available:
One full-time faculty position as an assistant professor or higher.
II. Starting Date:
August 1, 2026
III. Qualifications:
1.Academic Degree:
Ph.D. in Information and Learning Technology or related field from an institution recognized by the Ministry of Education. (Doctoral candidates who have not yet obtained their degree will not be considered)
2.Specializations:
Expertise in Information and Learning Technology, Computer Science, or Information Management.
3. Publications:
At least two academic journal articles (published or accepted) with full-text peer-review systems,published since 2020 in reputable domestic or international journals.(Preference is given to publications in SSCI/SCIE/SCI-indexed journals. Proof of acceptance is required for articles not yet published.)
4.Teaching Capability:
(1) Ability to teach professional courses related to the department.
(2) The program may offer courses conducted entirely in English or through English-Medium Instruction (EMI).
(3) Must be willing and able to teach evening and weekend courses.
IV. Application Deadline:
January 31, 2026 (based on postmark date).
V. Required Documents:
1. Copies of all academic degree certificates (bachelor's and above). If you hold a foreign doctoral degree,please send your degree certificate (or temporary proof of graduation certificate) and academic transcripts (during the undergraduate and postgraduate years) to the Bureau of Consular Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Republic of China (Taiwan) for degree verification.
2. Copy of national ID (both sides) with the statement "For the sole purpose of applying for the full-time faculty position at the Department of Information and Learning Technology" written on it.
3. Official transcripts from master's and doctoral studies.
4. Please complete the three forms: Basic Information Form for Faculty Application – NUTN, Academic Summary Form, and Notification and Letter of Consent to Personal Information (Appendix I, II and III), and provide both hard copies and electronic files. Please also email electronic copies to

5. Documentation of relevant professional experience
6. Complete doctoral dissertation.
7. Please provide a list of academic publications from the past five years (2020–2025), including the 2024 Impact Factor, journal’s ranking in relevant fields, and author identification. In addition, please submit an abstract or photocopy (up to five articles) of significant academic publications.
8. Sample syllabi for courses the applicant can teach.
9. Any additional materials supporting the application.

3. Applicants are required to conduct a full teaching demonstration in English during the interview.
4. Faculty members are expected to undertake at least two years of administrative service within the university and assist with departmental duties.
5. To comply with the university’s EMI (English as a Medium of Instruction) policy, newly appointed faculty members are required to teach at least one course per semester taught entirely in English or as an EMI (English-Medium Instruction) course.
