Tenure Track Faculty Position on Global Undergraduate Program in Semiconductors International College, National Taiwan University

1. The Global Undergraduate Program in Semiconductors (GUPS) at National Taiwan University calls for applications for one Tenure Track Faculty Position (Lecturer or above), with an expected appointment date of August 1, 2026.
(1) Areas of Specialization
Applicants with expertise in one or more of the following areas are encouraged to apply:
I.Integrated Circuit Design:
Next-generation communication systems, artificial intelligence (AI), embedded processors/memory, hardware security, quantum computing, ultra-low-power computing, and sensing technologies.
II.Semiconductor Devices and Process Technologies:
Transistor and memory devices, heterogeneous integration, novel semiconductor materials, devices and materials for quantum computing and communication, advanced node device and process integration, and other emerging semiconductor-related fields.
(2) A doctoral degree (Assistant Professor or above) / A master's degree (Lecturer) and the capability to teach in English is required. Applicants shall also be able to teach undergraduate-level professional courses, also need to assist the program with administrative and student affairs.
(3) Applicants must not be current tenure-track faculty members or tenure-track researchers employed at domestic public or private universities, colleges, or academic research institutions.

2. Documents required for application include:
(1) Curriculum Vitae, including nationality, date of birth, education background, summary of research field (within 250 words), current position, working experience, and publication list within the past seven years (please provide corresponding full-text papers in PDF files published after August 1, 2019).
(2) A cover letter indicating the intended application rank (Lecturer or Assistant, Associate, Full Professor) and one selected representative publication highlighting the significant contributions. The representative publication must have been published within the past five years (after August 1, 2021) in a major international journal (SCI, SSCI, SCIE). Applicants for Lecturer may use their Master's thesis, and Assistant Professor positions may use their Doctoral thesis as the representative publication.
(3) Research plans.
(4) Teaching plans: Please provide syllabi for at least 3 professional courses. (If applicable, please attach a statement listing past teaching experiences.)
(5) Highest Degree Certificate.
(6) Transcripts from undergraduate and graduate degrees (for those applying to the Lecturer and Assistant Professor positions only).
(7)Three letters of recommendation (sent by the referees directly through email to ntugups@ntu.edu.tw ).
