The Department of Atmospheric Sciences at National Taiwan University (DAS-NTU) invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor levels, with the appointment beginning in August 2026. The future development of DAS focuses on integrating observation, modeling, theory, and AI to holistically advance the understanding of severe/extreme weather, earth system processes, climate change, and their inter-relationships. We seek candidates from broad disciplines of the related field aligning with this vision, while applicants working on other related emerging topics are also welcome. The application deadline is January 25, 2026.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in atmospheric sciences or closely related fields, preferably with postdoctoral experience. They should also have the capability to develop unique and innovative research projects and be in enthusiastic in teaching and developing new courses covering emerging fields.
