Department of Mechanical Engineering, National Chung Hsing University (NCHU), Taiwan ROC

The Department of Mechanical Engineering at National Chung Hsing University invites applications for tenure-track, tenured and project-based faculty positions at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor ranks.

Qualifications
1. Exceptional candidates who have strong backgrounds in disciplines relevant to mechanical engineering or related major encompassing Energy and Thermofluid, System Control, Manufacturing, Solid Mechanics and Design, or other emerging fields with Artificial Intelligence, Net-zero Emissions, Semiconductor Manufacturing, Intelligent Unmanned Vehicles, and Information Security, etc., will be considered. The successful applicants will be expected to carry out independent and externally-funded research, teach at undergraduate and graduate levels (especially core courses), and participate in professional and institutional services. Candidates with the ability of providing lectures in English are especially encouraged. Commencement date: Feb. 1st, 2027. or Aug. 1st, 2027.
2. Particular attention will be given to the outstanding candidates with nationally and internationally recognized academic achievements (Fellow of institute and organization or recognized excellence award winner). Commencement date: Feb. 1st, 2027. or Aug. 1st, 2027.

2. Copy of the doctoral diploma or proof of expected doctoral graduation date;
3. Applicants who earned doctoral degree within the last five years must also provide transcripts for undergraduate and postgraduate degrees;
4. Curriculum Vitae, Statements of Teaching and Research. The CV should include a detailed list of academic publications in the last seven years (please provide copies of maximum five representative publications);
