Job Descriptions
One tenure-track assistant professor position or higher level appointed in the Department of Public Health (DPH) and the Institute of Food Safety and Health (IFSH). In addition to research, the faculty members are expected to lecture on undergraduate, and IFSH courses.
Job Qualifications
●A doctoral degree from a leading university around the world in food safety and health, or relating fields listed below:
●Health risk assessment
●Health risk communications of regulations and policies on food safety
●Nutritional epidemiology
●Other relating fields that are complementary to the research of other faculty members in the IFSH and in the College of Public Health, National Taiwan University
Required documents
●Cover letter: Please specify the rank of position the candidate is applying for, and the statements of research and teaching interests.
●A curriculum vitae with a publication list
●Copies of diplomas and certificates of important experiences
●Copies of academic transcripts from graduate degrees
●A list of selected publications, including no more than two full-text copies of representative publications within five years (the date after August 1, 2021; and no more than ten full-text copies of referenced publications within seven years (the date after August 1, 2019).
●Research statements
●Teaching proposal (including teaching experience and plans for both undergraduate and graduate levels)
●Three letters of recommendation (which can be sent by referees through email)
●Any other documents demonstrating the qualifications, such as previous teaching courses, research grants, academic awards, etc.
