【Faculty Positions Available - Department of Political Science at National Sun Yat-sen University (Kaohsiung City, Taiwan)】
The Department of Political Science at National Sun Yat-sen University in Taiwan is seeking to appoint two distinguished full-time faculty members. We are committed to academic excellence and are looking for individuals who can contribute to our dynamic and collaborative environment.

Position Details:
•Number of Openings: 2
•Rank: Assistant Professor or higher
•Fields of Specialization: International Relations, Comparative Politics, Public Policy, and other interdisciplinary areas within Political Science
•Language Requirement: Proficiency in English for both teaching and research purposes
•The teaching position starts in February 2025.
Qualifications:
• Candidates must hold a Ph.D. from an institution recognized by Taiwan’s Ministry of Education, either domestically or internationally. Current Assistant Professors or higher with a proven track record of exceptional research are encouraged to apply. If the degree is obtained from a foreign institution, verification of the degree will be required.

•The successful candidate is expected to teach a minimum of one course in English per semester and offer at least one specialized course annually.

•Curriculum Vitae/Resume (to include a recent photograph, copies of academic and professional credentials, diplomas, transcripts, etc.). Please highlight any practical experience and accolades.
•A list of publications from the past five years (including doctoral dissertation title). Please organize the list by journals, conference papers, books, etc., and indicate if indexed by major databases (e.g., Scopus, SSCI, TSSCI).
•A copy of a representative publication.
•A list of potential courses to be taught and a brief outline of teaching philosophy and plans.
•Two to three letters of recommendation.
