I. Position: Full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor or higher.
II. Recruitment Quota: One
III. Commencement Date: Aug. 1, 2027 (2027 Fall semester)
IV. Qualifications (must meet at least one of the following qualifications):
1. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. degree earned at a domestic or international institution recognized by the Ministry of Education (MOE) of Taiwan.
2. Applicants must hold an Assistant Professor (or higher) Certificate issued by the Ministry of Education (MOE) of Taiwan.
V. Expertise：Expertise in biodiversity, natural ecosystems (terrestrial animals), ecology and conservation, sustainable land and resource conservation, etc. Courses that can be offered: Ecology, conservation biology, biodiversity, or environmental science.
VI. Required documents:
1. CV (including description of academic expertise, autobiography, courses offering (conducted in Chinese and English), list of publications in the past five years and full electronic files)
2. Educational background and certificates:
(a) Doctoral dissertation
(b)Transcripts for Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral degrees
(c) If the applicant’s educational background experience is overseas, the following documents must be attached: overseas academic certificates, overseas academic transcripts, overseas service certificates, etc. (verification stamps must be obtained from overseas agencies, and a Chinese translation certified by a domestic notary public must be attached), entry and exit records for each year ( please apply directly to the National Immigration Agency of the Ministry of the Interior; foreigners or overseas Chinese are exempt from attaching these documents ) , and a list of the study experience of the teachers whose overseas degrees are being reviewed (Appendix 1)
3. Three letters of recommendation.
4. Applicants with teaching experience within the past five years, please provide supporting documents for the courses offered, teaching plans, and teaching evaluation data.
5. Applicants with an assistant professor (or higher) certificate should provide a copy of the certificate.
6. A written statement from the proposed appointee of the education personnel, signed by the appointee (Appendix 2).
7. VIII. Second-round examination: Applicants who pass the preliminary examination will be notified by the department to participate in the second-round examination in mid-March. The second-round examination will span two days and one night and will be conducted in the form of an in-person interview, but in special circumstances, it may be conducted via video conference.
