MOST Taiwan Tech Arena Leads 12 Medical Technology Innovators for the MedTech Conference 2019

12 medtech innovation startups, supported by The Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) , will attend the MedTech Conference 2019, showcasing their innovative tech solutions under name of Taiwan Tech Arena Pavilion (TTA Pavilion). The Pavilion will attract the global’ s attention by Taiwan tech innovation strength in three categories: AI rapid diagnostic testing, healthcare testing, and innovative medical appliances.

 

Held in Boston, the MedTech conference is one of the most influential medtech innovation events in the world, attracting more than 35 countries, 300 world-class speakers and 3,000 representatives from medtech related industries each year. 

 

Recently, Taiwan quickly shifts from its advantage from hardware to software, and it is set to become Asia’s hotbed for AI development. TTA has coordinated Taiwan’s technology and startup resources and will have its pavilion during the MedTech Conference 2019. The TTA Pavilion has gathered some of the best minds in medtech and it is sure to be one of the must-sees to discover the latest trends and tech innovation.

 

After the MedTech Conference 2019, TTA also arrange Demo Day, team visits and meetings with locals such as MetroWest Medical Center, Carruth Capital, Boston Scientific, Mass Medic, Massachusetts Life Sciences Center, Massachusetts General Hospital etc., showcasing Taiwan’s best innovation to Boston. 

 

TTA, Empowering Tech Startups


TTA, organized by Taiwan’s Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), is a tech startup ecosystem building program launched in June of 2018. TTA has been partnering with technology innovations affiliates and renowned accelerators around the world such as French Tech Taiwan, Canadian Technology Accelerator (CTA) , SOSV-MOX, SparkLabs Taipei, IAPS and BE Accelerator to organize and execute startup accelerator or supportive programs. Its visions are to be the foundation of global tech venture, to be the cultural fusing hub of startups, and to be the voice of Taiwan tech startup ecosystem.

 

TTA hopes to attract global and domestic talents and actively foster the innovation of technology industries by building a co-creation platform for startups, accelerators, venture capital, and corporate partners under one dome. TTA is seeking to cultivate and work with startups who have the ambition and passion to provide innovation solutions with new technologies such as artificial intelligence, software, semi-conductor and more.
