The Science and Technology Division of the Taiwanese Representative Office in Lithuania was established in July 2022 as a branch of National Science and Technology Council (NSTC), Taiwan ROC.
This division facilitates science and technology cooperation and supports bilateral research exchanges in scientific and technological institutes between Taiwan, Lithuania, and the five Nordic and Baltic countries: Latvia, Estonia, Finland, Norway, and Sweden.
Missions and Services
Operating under the supervision of the Taiwanese Representative Office in Lithuania, the division collaborates with scientific institutions in Lithuania and the aforementioned European countries to:
• Promote the signing of bilateral science and technology cooperation agreements;
• Organize bilateral or multilateral research workshops, seminars, or conferences;
• Foster science and technology exchange visits among scientists and distinguished academic professionals;
• Provide information on the latest scientific and technological advancements in the involved countries.
