To create a single window to showcase Taiwan's technological prowess to the world, the National Science and Technology Council invited Academia Sinica, the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Health and Welfare to jointly host the Future Tech Theme Pavilion. It focused on the areas of precision health ecosystem, electronic & optoelectronics, AI & IOT application, digital transformation, aeronautics & space technology and novel materials. 2021 FUTEX (Future Tech) will be held as Online Exhibition from 14th ~ 23rd October 2021. This project was also created to enhance cross-border industry exchanges and industry-university matchmaking using the One-On-One Matching platform. In addition to the technology display, we will also arrange for a number of trend forums, thematic talks, technology publishing, online matchmaking and other activities to enhance cross-border exchanges.

To display Taiwan’s strength in Technology, check-in all the innovations and encourage the institutes to share and publicize the practical creativity to the global market so that we can strengthen our connection with worldwide, the National Science and Technology Council invited the Academia Sinica, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health and Welfare jointly host the FutureTech award. The criteria of submission must be the result of projects which are subsidized by the National Science and Technology Council or Academia Sinica or Ministry of Education or Ministry of Health and Welfare.
The winners will win one trophy, one certificate of Merit and NT$10,000. The winning technology will be announced by the end of August.
