With 71.8 points out of 100, the Czech Republic ranked eighth among all EU member states, coming first among CEE region, but also ahead of the UK, Belgium and the Netherlands.
The latest Europe Sustainable Development Report measures each country's success in achieving the 17 sustainable development goals. The country currently has the lowest at-risk-poverty rate as well as the lowest long-term unemployment rate in the EU. Czech Republic also improved in water management goals but major challenges remain in the are of Climate Action, namely in energy-related CO2 emmisions.
