Opportunity for MSCA-PF candidates focused on statistics and AI

We are an interdisciplinary research group focusing on social and cognitive aspect of augmented and

immersive virtual reality based at Masaryk University (Czechia). Currently, we are seeking postdocs

with background in statistics and/or AI who would like to apply for Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions –

Postdoctoral Fellowship (MSCA PF) in the 2024 call. Although the MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship is

extremely competitive, Czech Republic runs a national scheme awarding all researchers scoring over

70 %, which considerably increases the chance to get funded.

If your research interest lies elsewhere, but you meet the other criteria to apply for MSCA fellowship

and are engaged in topics related to ours, we will also be happy to hear from you.

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?

• 1–2 years’ long postdoctoral research in the Czech Republic

• Research experience aiming at top rated publications

• Opportunity to use large datasets collected during virtual reality experiments, possibility to

contribute to running experiments, and opportunity to build up an expertise on virtual

behavioural data analysis

• Background and support of a strong organization experienced in administering MSCA

projects

• Close collaboration with the transdisciplinary team and an opportunity to be mentored by

an experienced senior researcher

• MSCA-PF gross salary of approx. 5,000 EUR per month

• Opportunity to further participate in interesting international projects

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Researchers who completed their PhD before 11 September 2024 and not longer than 8

years ago.

• Candidates who have not resided in the Czech Republic for more than 12 months during the

last 3 years at the time of the deadline (11 September 2024).

If interested, please contact us and we will gladly have an online talk with you:
