Duties and Responsibilities
1. Publish high-quality SCI-indexed journal articles based on research conducted at the Center, with a strong emphasis on publication in high-impact international journals, while meeting the Center’s research performance and publication KPI requirements.
2. Plan, conduct, and manage research projects that generate innovative and academically significant outcomes.
3. Prepare and submit research proposals to the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC), government agencies, industry-academia collaboration programs, and international funding organizations.
4. Participate in and contribute to the Center’s key research programs and technology development activities.
5. Plan and implement international academic and industry-academia collaborative projects.
6. Assist in drafting, coordinating, and executing international collaborative research proposals.
7. Promote international academic partnerships, technology transfer activities, and student exchange/internship programs.
8. Establish and expand international research networks through participation in conferences, academic visits, and collaborative activities.
9. Assist in mentoring graduate students and research team members.

Qualifications
1. A Ph.D. degree with at least one year of postdoctoral research experience.
2. Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research and publish in international peer-reviewed journals.
3. Strong publication record in SCI-indexed journals; experience publishing in high-impact international journals is highly desirable.
4. Experience in writing, applying for, and managing research grants is preferred.
5. Candidates with expertise in one or more of the following analytical techniques are strongly encouraged to apply:
o LC-MS/MS (Liquid Chromatography-Tandem Mass Spectrometry)
o GC-MS/MS (Gas Chromatography-Tandem Mass Spectrometry)
o Pyro-GC-MS/MS (Pyrolysis Gas Chromatography-Tandem Mass Spectrometry)
o HRMS (High-Resolution Mass Spectrometry)
o Environmental Pollutant Analysis
6. Research expertise in one or more of the following areas is preferred:
o Environmental Engineering
o Environmental Toxicology
o Emerging Contaminants
o PFAS Research
o PM0.1 and Air Pollution Studies
o Pollutant Fate and Transport
o Biosensors
o Environmental Forensics
7. Excellent English communication and scientific writing skills.
8. Self-motivated, proactive, responsible, and capable of working effectively in a multidisciplinary research team.
9. Strong passion for research, willingness to accept challenges, and commitment to pursuing research excellence.
10. Willingness to participate in international collaborations, short-term overseas assignments, and interdisciplinary research activities.

Salary and Benefits
Monthly salary: NT$65,000–70,000
(Exclusive of publication incentives and year-end bonuses.)
