I. Position Opening
The Department of Public Health at National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) invites applications for one full-time faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor or above. The anticipated appointment date is
August 1, 2027, or February 1, 2028.
II. Qualifications
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
1. Hold a Ph.D. degree or possess an Academic Teaching Rank Certificate of Assistant Professor or above given by the Ministry of Education, Taiwan.
2. Have teaching and research experience in public health-related fields, with publications in SCI/SSCI international journals.
3. Proficiency in English teaching and ability to supervise international students.
4. Expertise in the following areas:
Biostatistics, AI, Health Data Science & Precision Public Health
Epidemiology
Public Health of Aging & Long-term Care Policy
Environmental & Occupational Health & Climate Change
Health Policy, Health Services Research & Health Systems
Mental Health & Health Behavioral Science
III. Required Documents
1. Applicant Information Form (using the format provided by the Department; application forms can be downloaded from the NCKU faculty recruitment website or the Department's website).
2. Curriculum Vitae (CV), including an autobiography and a description of professional service experience.
3. A list of publications from the past five years.
4. Selected publications, including full-text electronic files (up to 10 papers, no time limit).
5. Three letters of recommendation (no prescribed format). Recommenders should send their letters directly by email to the Department. Applicants who pass the preliminary review will be required to arrange for original hard-copy recommendation letters for the secondary review.
6. Teaching statement and research plan for the next five years (no specific format required).
7. Copies of academic degrees and relevant certificates. Degrees obtained outside of Taiwan must be authenticated by the appropriate overseas representative office.
8. Any additional documents that may support the review process.
