The College of Management at Yuan Ze University invites applications for 1–2 tenure-track faculty positions in the Finance discipline. We are seeking dynamic scholars with strong research potential and a commitment to excellence in teaching.
II. Key Dates

III. Research & Teaching Areas
We welcome candidates with expertise in the following areas:
1. Finance: Corporate Finance, Asset Pricing, Investments, Asset Management, Financial Institutions, Behavioral Finance.
2. FinTech & Digital Innovation: Blockchain Applications, DeFi, RegTech, Algorithmic Trading, Digital Currency.
3. Financial Data Science & AI: Quantitative Investment, Machine Learning in Finance, Financial Big Data, Text Mining, Smart Decision Making.
4. Sustainable Finance (ESG): Green Finance, Climate Risk, Impact Investing, Socially Responsible Investment.
IV. Qualifications
• Ph.D. in Finance, Financial Data Science, Computer Science, Information Management, Economics, or related fields from an accredited institution.
• Capability to teach in English (EMI - English as a Medium of Instruction).
• Demonstrated ability to publish in high-quality academic journals. Candidates with high research potential are strongly preferred.
V. Competitive Compensation & Incentives
YZU offers a highly competitive package to support faculty development:
• Recruitment Bonus (Up to 6 Years):
o Assistant Professor: Additional NT$150,000 per year.
o Associate Professor: Additional NT$170,000 per year.
o Note: This bonus is granted for up to six years, with a performance evaluation waiver for the first three years.
• Professor Allowance: Upon promotion to Full Professor, faculty members receive a permanent monthly allowance of **NT$18,000** (approx. NT$216,000/year).
• Teaching Load Reduction: Reduced teaching load by 3 credits per semester for the first two years to support research initiation.
• Research Start-up Grant: Up to NT$300,000 (one-time) for new faculty, plus subsidies for paper editing and international conference travel.
• Performance Pay: Additional merit-based bonuses available for outstanding research performance.

2. Curriculum Vitae (CV) and Autobiography (including education, experience, and research interests).
3. Photocopy of Ph.D. Diploma.
o Note: Foreign degrees must be verified by a Taiwan overseas representative office. If verification is pending due to time constraints, a signed affidavit or electronic copy may be submitted first for the application review. Verification will be required upon hiring.
4. Official Ph.D. Transcript (Foreign degrees require verification as above).
5. Teacher’s Certificate (if available).
6. List of Academic Publications (indicating sources) and a summary of research achievements.
7. Representative Publications (within the past 5 years).
8. Two Letters of Recommendation (sent directly by referees via email or sealed envelope).
9. Statement of Future Research & Teaching Plan.
