Overall purpose
To work within the group of Dr Kelly Nguyen at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology (LMB), within a programme aimed at understanding the molecular mechanisms of telomere maintenance. Specifically, to undertake research to investigate how histones are involved in human telomerase regulation using cell biology, biochemistry and cryo-electron microscopy.
Academic qualifications
These should include a PhD in Structural Biology or related fields or due to complete PhD within 6 months.
Technical skills and expertise
Experience of and ability to perform techniques relevant to the project.
Essential:
Experience in cryo-electron microscopy, mammalian cell culture, cell biology, molecular biology, protein expression and purification,
Desirable:
Protein/nucleic acid biochemistry
聘期：Full time, Fixed term for 3 years
薪資待遇：£41,344 per annum
